Parish Mission Statement
Most Reverend Mykhailo Kuzma, Pastor
What we strive for and what we stand and believe in.

The mission of Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Parish is to promote the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth according to the tradition of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church by:

  • Fostering a meaningful liturgical and personal prayer life
  • Vigorously proclaiming the Gospel and introducing Jesus Christ and His Gospel to all whose lives we touch
  • Promoting vocations to the priesthood and religious life

We hold the ministry of Saints Cyril and Methodius as our model of evangelism.  We cherish our tradition and way of worshipping God as among the most beautiful in all Christendom and will strive to plant it firmly on American soil as our gift to the people of Palatine and vicinity.

We fervently commit ourselves and this sacred mission to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, patron of our holy eparchy and to the Most Holy Mother of God, Teacher and Mother of all peoples.
